Sweet Baby Girl

Baby Girl "Sneaky Pants" Meeker passed away last night in my lap at 10:45 pm. Her little heart was racing so I knew I had to take her to the emergency clinic. Bob stayed with Molly so it was just the two of us. We got about 10 minutes away from home and she stopped breathing so hard and relaxed. It was truly an honor to be with her alone in her last moments. She was sitting on my lap just the way she was when I rescued her. She was a momma's dog. I will forever miss her sweet smile and putting my hands into that soft fuzz. Love you so much Baby.

Finished

Just finished my stinking 12 page lab report. It was to be submitted at midnight so......whooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooo! I made it! TGIF

The word is C-R-A-Z-Y!

I know my life is out of control when I start getting to work late. Whoops! 10 minutes before we left today Rocky threw up, I remembered to make Molly's lunch, Molly pooped (and she hasn't in 4 days so it was a big dang deal), and then she wanted to take 2 babies and her bear to school (in their stroller). So after running around like a maniac I think it was all taken care of and I was only 2 minutes late! My HUGE lab report is due tonight and it is 3:00 and I am not done. YIKESSSSS!

All of this to say, it's a pretty good day today. My problems are little. Remember baby Linsday? She is sick and back in the hospital. Please pray that her body is not rejecting her new heart. http://www.lindsaysheart.blogspot.com/

PS-I am getting a 5th dog on Friday but don't tell my mom. She doesn't know yet! She is French Bulldog, pet store throw away. Adopting again. Name suggestions????

Coloring

This girl loves to color. This past Saturday she woke up at 5:30 am saying, "I color" over and over again.
I wanted to also post a link to one of our favorite places. The Essence of Eve spa in McKinney is the BEST. They just moved to a new location and my sister and I were checking out their website. www.essenceofevespa.com If you click on "From the Owner" there is a whole story about our family. We had no idea it was on there. We love Darla and everyone at Essence of Eve.

Weekend Post

My Mom turns 60 on October 18th this year. We celebrated this past weekend. All of us (minus Molly) stayed down town at Hotel Zaza. It's a funky place right off McKinney. We bought her a spa package and then went to dinner at Trulucks. They have the BEST carrot cake I've ever eaten. YUMMY! Mom had to wear her "60 and Sassy" shirt that I made. After dinner we stayed up late dancing and playing games. It was fun but I missed my M. She stayed with Uncle Brian and Aunt Susie (who she calls Suey). They took her on the DART train to the farmers market to pick out a pumpkin. She slept in bed with both of them. I think they were kicked a few times :)

It was a great weekend. I'm sometimes amazed that my mom made it to 60!!!! She has come through so much and I am beyond thankful that God brought her so far. She is a true survivor and great Mom. Happy 60th Mom!!!!

A few weeks ago I took wedding photos for a family friend, Kim. I thought they turned out pretty ok for it being my 1st time. I won the dress below for Molly's 2 year old photo shoot with Toni. Now I need to accessorize.

Too Long

Hi EVERYONE!!!!
It has been a busy beginning of school so far. My job is easy and fun. My class at TWU is hard and fun. How is that possible ;) I just realized that I have become way too caught up in my school work. I was putting tons of pressure on myself for grades and application dates. The other night during a lab test I realized I had totally stopped enjoying life because of my obsession with school. When it hit me I felt 1,000 pounds lift off my back. Remember............going back to school was supposed to be fun. If God has ordained me to get into nursing school I will. How quickly I lose sight of what really matters. Hello Amy...... I will teach you the way you should go. Psalms 32:8

Recently, we have been enjoying many animal related activities. M loves ANIMALS just like her Mommy. We have been to the zoo, Glenrose, and Sharkarosa Ranch. Molly is talking, talking, talking and full of fun. No time with her is never enough for me. Last Friday she got her first hair cut. It is a bob without bangs. So darn cute! I'll post pics when I get some.

Some of you realized my blog went private for about 2 weeks. My cousin had pics stolen off of Facebook. It freaked me out a little and I wanted to think about even having this blog. Some other x-boyfriend also located me so it took me back a little. I have a new phone number, email address and am off Facebook. The blog seems safe enough and I miss connecting with my friends.
Love to all,
Amy

Wedding Photos Part 3

Colleen and Mo

Sarah, Shannon, Colleen, Meghan, Katy and I holding the groom.

AC OUT!

The AC is out again! So, I decided to let Molly play in the shower last night. She stayed in for over an hour with her toys and a few stuffed animals. I was too hot to tell her no. I am remembering my trip to Africa 8 years ago and how no one had AC. It was buring hot. I feel thankful to live in a developed country and positive that it will be up and running soon.
