Dog House is a game we ALWAYS play when we go to my Mamie's. It's basically like Sorry but with some fierce East Texas competition. When I was little I would cry and run to the back bathroom when I got knocked off the board. They all still love to remind me of this, like I would do it again at 36 years old. We tried to let Molly play this time but my Mamie kept knocking her off. (Alzheimer's you know). I shouldn't laugh but I can't help it. This side of the family could probably have a reality show. It wouldn't be pretty, that's all I'm sayin! Here is my mom, my Mamie, Uncle Larry, and Uncle Clifford making their meanest Dog House faces. You can see who won at the bottom.
Hi! My name is Amy. My husband and I have two kiddos and a third on the way. Molly is three, Timmy is two (adopted from S. Korea), and Lindsay Ji is waiting for us in China. I love my family, our four dogs, photography, yard work, running, Disney World :), listening to music and being outside! My life has been a series of hills and valleys and I am most certainly a work in progress. My Dad and my Aunt both committed suicide and those grief experiences have shaped my life in a way I never imagined. I pray that one day my story of suicide survival can bring hope to others in similar situations. I'm also a first grade teacher in Dallas, Texas and am blessed to spend my days surrounded by kiddos! Thanks for stopping by!
