We stayed on Shamain Island in Guangzhou. There are beautiful gardens and buildings. The traffic is minimal and I had a real since of peace while staying there. We bought lots of outdoor toys to play with and we took walks each day. There were some fun outdoor cafes, a Subway, and even a Starbucks. There are people exercising and playing games throughout the day. (Again I didn't carry my camera around much---so annoyed at myself! But I borrowed some pics from a friend's blog. Hope she doesn't mind :)
